RMBI 2017 Festival

rmbi-rightThis Festival is running from 2012 to 2017 in the Province of Yorkshire, West Riding, and is raising funds for the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution. This charity operates care homes, primarily for the care of elderly Freemasons and their dependants.

Kirklees Lodge is proud to be a Patron of the RMBI though its charitable donations since the start of the festival.


The Festival Jewel

rmbi-jewelCharitable giving is one of the cornerstones of Freemasonry. As part of the festival, any member who reaches a level of contribution, is eligible to become a festival steward, and also to purchase one of the festival jewels, which can be worn at all craft and royal arch meetings throughout the festival.
Stewards of the festival are entitled to apply for a place at the end of festival banquet. only stewards and their partners are eligible to attend.

Over half the members of Kirklees Lodge are already Festival Stewards, with some already having reached Patron or Grand Patron status.
